A publishing company in Washington, USA is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and layout design for books, magazines, and other publications. The role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work with tight deadlines.

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting text and images into visually appealing designs for print and digital publications. This includes setting fonts, adjusting spacing and margins, and ensuring all elements are aligned correctly. You will also need to proofread your work to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress. Experience with HTML/CSS is a plus. Excellent communication skills are also essential as you will be working closely with editors, designers, and other team members.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. You will have the option to work remotely or in the office depending on your preference. While English proficiency is preferred, it is not required for this role.
