Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the precise location and measurement of land features. You will use specialized tools and equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and levels to collect data and produce accurate maps, reports, and drawings. Your work will play a crucial role in land development projects, construction projects, and property boundary disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various techniques such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Collect data on land features including boundaries, topography, and structures
- Analyze survey data to produce accurate maps, reports, and drawings
- Identify potential issues or discrepancies in the data collected
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals involved in land development projects
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within established timelines
- Adhere to safety regulations while working in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficiency with surveying equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and levels
- Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
-Familiarity with relevant software programs such as AutoCAD or GIS
-Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveying
-Capable of working independently or as part of a team
-Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Flexibility to travel for project assignments
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Fonvieille (free visa provided)
