Registered Dietitian - Nutrition Counselor (Shan, Canada)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Shan, Canada. As a Nutrition Counselor, you will work with clients to develop personalized nutrition plans that meet their health and wellness goals. You will provide education and support on healthy eating habits, weight management, and chronic disease prevention. This role requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on individual needs and goals
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to clients in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients with complex medical conditions
- Stay current on the latest research and evidence-based practices in the field of nutrition
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate updates to appropriate parties
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in dietetics or nutrition from an accredited university
- Registered Dietitian (RD) designation from the College of Dietitians of Canada
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dietitian
- Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with chronic diseases
- Strong knowledge of current nutrition guidelines, food allergies/intolerances, and special diets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in using electronic health records
- Must be willing to obtain liability insurance

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Shan, Canada
