Contract Accountant (Herning, Denmark)

We are in need of an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Herning, Denmark. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and preparing accurate financial statements for our company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting and possess excellent analytical skills. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports according to established guidelines
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial data
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts as needed
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline accounting processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or finance role
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
