Contract Accountant

Our dynamic accounting firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Accountant to join our team in Herning, Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our clients on a contractual basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant looking for flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients on a contractual basis
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for clients as needed
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in Danish (written and spoken)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month based on experience.

Working Hours:
This is a contract position with flexible working hours. The candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week on average.
