Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator


We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Aarhus! In this role, you will be responsible for managing our organization's computer network and systems, ensuring their smooth operation and security. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise and implementing upgrades or improvements as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, experience with system administration, and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month, with opportunities for growth within the company. Visa sponsorship and travel expenses will also be covered for the right candidate. Responsibilities:
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining our computer networks
- Monitoring network performance to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely solutions
- Installing and upgrading hardware and software as needed
- Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, encryption methods, etc.
- Managing user accounts and access levels for various systems
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure system compatibility
- Maintaining documentation of network configurations, procedures, etc.
- Conducting regular backups of data to prevent loss in case of system failure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with system administration (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Familiarity with security protocols (firewalls, encryption methods)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
-Certifications such as CCNA or MCSE
-Prior experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
-Experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds)
-Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
