Job Title: Typesetter


A typesetter is responsible for setting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing printed materials such as books, newspapers, and magazines. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of design principles.

As a typesetter in Shan, you will work with a team of designers to produce high-quality publications for our clients. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Using specialized software to format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofreading and editing text for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborating with designers and clients to ensure the layout meets their requirements
- Maintaining a consistent style and adhering to established design guidelines
- Ensuring all materials are error-free before final printing
- Troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during the typesetting process
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Pakistani nationality preferred
- No experience required, training will be provided
- Must be able to obtain a visa and travel to Shan
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe InDesign
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
