Carpenter - Contract Position in Karachi, Pakistan


Our construction company is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials in accordance with project specifications. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous carpentry experience looking to gain more experience and work on exciting projects.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to determine materials required for construction
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, measuring tapes, or other marking devices
- Cut materials to specified measurements using saws or other cutting tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, counters or stairs according to project plans
- Repair damaged structures by replacing or repairing damaged parts
- Maintain tools and equipment used for carpentry work
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and project plans
- Skilled in using various carpentry tools such as saws, drills, hammers etc.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials if needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month. The contract does not include accommodation but includes a free visa and ticket for international applicants. This position is open to students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of carpentry.
