Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine


We are in search of an experienced Pastry Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine to join our team in Izhevsk. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that reflect the unique flavors of Indian cuisine. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop new recipes and menu items, while also ensuring that all desserts and pastries are consistently made to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Indian cuisine, strong knowledge of pastry techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1500 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare traditional and modern Indian-inspired desserts and pastries
- Develop new dessert recipes in collaboration with Head Chef
- Ensure all desserts and pastries are made to high quality standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry station
- Follow food safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef with specialization in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian ingredients, spices, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts using traditional Indian techniques
- Good understanding of food cost management
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
