Architectural Technologist


We are in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our growing team in Os, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles and be able to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and other professionals to develop comprehensive architectural designs
- Create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design development
- Prepare and submit building permit applications and construction documentation
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
- Coordinate with contractors during the construction process to ensure designs are accurately implemented
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology advancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Knowledge of BIM software
- Fluency in Norwegian (or willingness to learn)

We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this contract position. This role does not include accommodation but is open to all genders. Candidates must have their own visa for working in Norway.
