We are a leading retail store in Aarhus, Denmark seeking a reliable and efficient Cashier to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Scan and bag items accurately
- Process cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle exchanges and returns efficiently
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Cashier is not required but is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Must have own visa for work in Denmark
Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with flexible working hours. The salary for this role is 1700$ per month. As this is an entry-level position, we welcome applicants without prior experience who are eager to learn.
