Junior Back-End Developer - Roskilde, Denmark


We are seeking a talented Junior Back-End Developer to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$. As a Junior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. This includes designing and implementing data structures, integrating front-end elements with server-side logic, and optimizing application performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby, as well as experience with web development frameworks like Django or Spring. Knowledge of databases and object-oriented programming is also required.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient and scalable back-end architecture for web applications
- Write clean, maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code base
- Optimize application performance to ensure smooth user experience
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with web development frameworks like Django or Spring
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling concepts
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
