Librarian for International School in Medina


We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our international school in Medina. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the school library and providing educational resources and support to students and teachers.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the school library, including cataloguing books, maintaining inventory, and organizing library materials.
- Collaborate with teachers to select appropriate educational resources and materials for the curriculum.
- Assist students in locating and selecting books, as well as conducting research using library resources.
- Offer guidance and support to students on effective research methods and information literacy skills.
- Plan and implement library programs, such as book clubs, reading challenges, and author visits.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature for children and young adults.
- Train students on how to use library technology, such as online databases and e-books.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the library that encourages learning and reading.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Knowledge of library management systems and online databases.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
