Hotel Sales Manager
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to maximize profitability for the hotel
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and revenue management to ensure cohesive efforts towards achieving sales goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and techniques is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to travel for client visits, trade shows, or other business-related events
