Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments used in industrial processes. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1000$ and includes accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, control valves, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instruments to ensure their proper functioning.
- Diagnose instrument malfunctions and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex instrument issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on equipment.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with calibration techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.

Preferred:
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or related field.
