Job Title: Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect in Odense, Denmark, you will play a crucial role in preserving and protecting the city's historical buildings and landmarks. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that these structures are maintained and restored according to strict preservation guidelines. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and an understanding of architectural conservation principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Overseeing construction teams to ensure preservation guidelines are followed
- Conducting regular inspections to monitor the condition of historical structures
- Researching and recommending appropriate materials for restoration and maintenance
- Preparing budgets, timelines, and reports for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural preservation or conservation work
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and preservation guidelines
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders involved in preservation projects

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on restoration projects involving listed or protected buildings
- Proficiency in relevant software programs such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles for historic buildings

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark.
