Data Mining Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Utena. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data mining tools, and the ability to work with complex data sets. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyze large sets of data using various data mining tools
- Identify trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations
- Develop and implement data mining strategies to improve business processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar languages used for statistical analysis and data mining
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate complex data sets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly

Preferred:
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as clustering or regression analysis
- Experience working with large databases or big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark)
- Previous experience in a similar role within the retail or e-commerce industry is a plus

Salary: $1400 per month (part-time)
Location: Utena (accommodation provided for non-local candidates)
