Industrial Alpinist in Svalbard

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Svalbard. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing high altitude operations and maintenance tasks in a variety of industrial settings such as power plants, bridges, and wind turbines.

Responsibilities:
- Perform high altitude inspections, repairs, and installations using specialized equipment and techniques
- Follow safety procedures and protocols while working at heights
- Communicate with team members and clients to ensure successful completion of projects
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of industrial alpinism techniques, safety protocols, and equipment
- Physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certification in industrial alpinism is preferred.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Salary may increase based on experience and performance.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard, a remote archipelago located between Norway and the North Pole. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already located in Svalbard.
