Tutor for English Language Learners in Atlanta


We are looking for a passionate and experienced Tutor to join our team in Atlanta, working specifically with English Language Learners. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction to students of various levels and backgrounds, with the goal of improving their English language skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different teaching methods and the ability to adapt to each student's needs. Previous experience working with international students or non-native English speakers is preferred. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students
- Create personalized lesson plans and materials based on each student's needs
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement
- Incorporate various teaching methods and techniques to engage students
- Use technology and other resources to enhance learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a tutor or teacher, preferably working with international students or non-native English speakers
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with different teaching methods and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed

Preferred:
- Master's degree in TESOL or related field
- Experience living or working abroad
- Knowledge of foreign languages (especially Nepali)
