Job Title: Data Mining Specialist

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Bergen. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be used to improve business operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data mining software and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify patterns and trends
- Develop data models and algorithms for predictive analysis
- Interpret data and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis results

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information quickly
