Typesetter/Graphic Designer


We are seeking a skilled Typesetter/Graphic Designer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a typesetter, your main responsibility will be to arrange and format text in a visually appealing manner for print and digital publications. You will also be responsible for creating visual designs and layouts for various projects. This is a full-time position that requires experience in typesetting and graphic design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text according to design specifications for various publications
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Use software such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to create visually appealing designs and layouts
- Ensure all materials are free of errors before sending them for printing or publishing
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in typesetting and design techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience in typesetting, preferably in a publishing or print media environment
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong eye for detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of typography, layout design, color theory, and printing processes
