Junior Surveyor
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team in Oslo. As a Junior Surveyor, you will assist senior surveyors in conducting land surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and creating maps and reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors with fieldwork, including setting up and operating equipment, taking measurements, and recording data
- Use specialized software to create accurate maps and reports based on collected data
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to support surveying projects
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is properly calibrated for accurate readings
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while working in the field
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field (candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered)
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, and statistics
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Experience with CAD software preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Oslo, Norway (accommodation not provided)
