Librarian for English-Speaking Library in El-Ain, Malaysia

We are seeking a highly qualified Librarian to join our team at a prestigious English-speaking library in El-Ain, Malaysia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, journals, and other resources, as well as providing research and reference services to library patrons.

Key responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining the library's collection according to industry standards
- Assisting patrons with research inquiries and providing reference services
- Developing and implementing library programs and initiatives to promote literacy and information literacy
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to support their teaching and research needs
- Managing budgets for acquisitions and subscriptions
- Supervising library assistants and volunteers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Proficient in English language (Malayalee preferred)
- Strong knowledge of library systems, databases, and digital resources
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide high-quality customer service
- Familiarity with information literacy instruction techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in an academic or research library preferred

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300 USD per month. The successful candidate will also receive free visa sponsorship and travel tickets.
