Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Izhevsk. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared to high quality standards and in a timely manner
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Implement and maintain food safety standards
- Monitor food costs and adjust menu prices to meet budget goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative menus while also catering to customer preferences
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficient in English (fluency preferred)
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Izhevsk
This is a full-time position without accommodation. Preference will be given to Canadian candidates with experience in high-end restaurants.
