Pastry Chef
A renowned Indian restaurant in Ashdod is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Indian cuisine and desserts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and decorate various types of Indian desserts, including traditional sweets such as Gulab Jamun and Jalebi
- Create new and innovative dessert items to add to our menu
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper pastry techniques
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting
- Knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and techniques is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month, along with benefits such as health insurance.
