Equipment Operator

We are in search of an experienced and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to assist with construction and maintenance projects.

As an Equipment Operator, you must have a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation. You must also have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans to ensure accurate execution of project tasks. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, etc.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Report any issues or concerns with equipment or project progress to supervisors

Requirements:
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Physical stamina and strength required for long hours of standing, bending, lifting, etc.
- Valid driver's license
