Part-Time Welder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time welder to join our team in Funchal. This role offers flexible hours and a competitive salary of 1000$. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in welding and be able to work independently. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates, but candidates must have their own visa to work in Funchal.

As a part-time welder, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and joining metal pieces together using various welding techniques. You will also be required to read and interpret technical drawings, maintain welding equipment, and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding
- Ability to work independently
- Good understanding of technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Familiarity with different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Own visa to work in Funchal (if not a local resident)

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Cut, shape, and join metal pieces using various welding techniques
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding project progress
- Keep work area clean and organized
