QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with our development team to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Your role will involve executing manual and automated tests, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining testing documentation and providing feedback on product usability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software quality assurance
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as black box, white box, and regression testing
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for various software projects
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs through the use of bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the software meet quality standards
- Conduct manual testing when necessary and automate repetitive tasks using testing tools
- Create test reports summarizing test results for management review
- Continuously improve QA processes through feedback and suggestions
We are offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this contract position in Herning. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Denmark. This job is open to all genders.
