Merchandiser for Urgent Contract Position in Braga, Portugal


We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis in Braga, Portugal. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing visual displays and product presentations in retail stores to attract and engage customers. This is an urgent position with a competitive salary of 900$.

Responsibilities:
- Create appealing product displays and visual merchandising techniques to showcase products in retail stores
- Work closely with store management to understand their sales goals and objectives
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or replenishment
- Utilize sales data to analyze customer trends and make informed decisions on product placement and promotions
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns
- Conduct store visits to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and standards
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or Visual Merchandiser in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market trends
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with store management and staff
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment
