Merchandiser (Contract) - Braga, Portugal



Position Overview:
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing product displays and promotions in retail stores in Braga, Portugal. You will work on a contract basis and must have your own visa to work in Portugal. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper placement of products on shelves and displays according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with store managers to restock as needed
- Implement promotional strategies and ensure proper signage and pricing for promotions
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with sales team to develop effective merchandising plans for new products or seasonal changes
- Maintain records of store visit reports, sales data, and visual merchandising guidelines
- Train store employees on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions on product placement

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising or retail operations preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese language proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Must have own visa/work permit for Portugal
- Flexible schedule with ability to travel within Braga as needed
