Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Alta. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or demolition projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow project plans and blueprints to accurately complete tasks
- Dig trenches, level land, and move materials as required by the project
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation
- Work closely with ground crew to ensure safety and productivity on the job site
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction or demolition setting
- Valid operator's license for excavator machinery
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime hours as needed

This is a part-time position with competitive salary of $1000 per week. Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate if needed. Own visa or work permit is preferred but not required.
