Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials on construction sites. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$, along with visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and diagrams to determine work requirements
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to specifications
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to safety standards at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator on construction sites
- Valid operator's license for the specific type of equipment being operated
- Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and diagrams
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills
