Foundry Technician


We are seeking an experienced Foundry Technician to join our team in Malindi. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of metal castings using various techniques such as sand casting, investment casting, and die casting. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing foundry equipment, ensuring quality control of finished products, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process of metal castings
- Prepare molds and materials for casting
- Monitor furnace temperatures and adjust as needed
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Train new employees on proper foundry techniques and procedures
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a foundry or similar manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of different foundry techniques such as sand casting, investment casting, and die casting
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials and able to work in a hot environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Indian national preferred
