Jr. Database Administrator


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Database Administrator to join our team in Karachi. As a Jr. DBA, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of our company's databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database software and related products.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Implement security measures to protect the databases from unauthorized access.
- Backup and restore databases as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure data integrity across various systems.
- Document database procedures and processes for future reference.
- Stay updated on new database technologies and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL language.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary: $1500 per month.
