Commercial Architect

Our architecture firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects, with a focus on creating innovative and functional designs that meet our clients' needs and budget. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing all phases of the design process, from conceptualization to construction documentation. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their commercial project needs and goals
- Lead the design process including concept development, space planning, material selection, and detailing
- Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into the design
- Prepare accurate construction documents using AutoCAD or Revit software
- Review and approve shop drawings during the construction phase
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with design intent and schedule
- Conduct site visits to provide construction administration support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect in California
- LEED accreditation
- Experience working on large-scale commercial projects

This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. This job is suitable for men who are willing to relocate to Los Angeles for the duration of the contract.
