Turner (Fresher)


A reputable engineering company in Faisalabad is seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup and production methods
- Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to cut, shape, or form metal parts
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality of finished products meet required standards
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain proper dimensions of machined parts
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary repairs or modifications
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while operating machinery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or related field
- Proven experience working with lathes, milling machines, grinders or similar equipment preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work within tight tolerances
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1800$, with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Faisalabad. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
