Mason - Brick and Stone Masonry Expert

As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, concrete blocks, stone, and other materials. You will use specialized tools and techniques to create walls, floors, patios, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications. Your duties will also include mixing mortar or grout, laying out your work area with safety precautions in mind, and cutting or shaping bricks or stones to fit specific spaces. You may also be required to install insulation materials and reinforcement bars as needed.

To excel in this role, you should have at least 3-5 years of experience in bricklaying or stonemasonry and be familiar with different types of masonry materials and techniques. A keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints are essential. Physical dexterity and strength are also important for this job as it involves lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

We are looking for a dependable Mason who takes pride in their work and can work independently as well as part of a team. You should have good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other construction workers on the job site. Basic math skills are also necessary for measuring materials and calculating layouts.

This is a full-time position based in Copenhagen with a salary of 900$ per week without accommodation provided. However, we can assist with finding affordable housing options if needed. As our ideal candidate is preferably Danish or has experience working in Denmark but we welcome all nationalities.
