Head Chef
A prestigious restaurant in Al-Rayyan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain innovative menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to our diverse clientele
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus that meet budget targets
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen according to food safety regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu development
- Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance, support, and feedback to staff members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record of managing costs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
