Database Administrator - Izhevsk, India


We are hiring a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Izhevsk, India. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our company's databases. You will also be involved in the planning and development of new databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary optimizations
- Create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Troubleshoot any database issues that arise
- Collaborate with developers to design new databases or modify existing ones
- Develop procedures for data backup, restoration, and disaster recovery
- Maintain documentation of database systems and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL programming language
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques
- Understanding of data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Certification in database administration (e.g. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator)
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of Linux operating system

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Izhevsk, India. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally eligible to work in India.
