IT Support Specialist



We are currently hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely solutions
- Install and configure computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Maintain hardware and software inventory and ensure all equipment is up-to-date
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Keep up-to-date with technological advancements and industry best practices
- Create user guides and provide training to clients on software applications
- Conduct regular system backups to ensure data integrity

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, and network protocols (TCP/IP)
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills is a plus)

Salary:
This is a contract job with a monthly salary of 1500$. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who require it.
