Junior Information Security Analyst


As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the protection of our company's computer systems and networks from potential cyber threats and attacks. This is a contract position in Alta, with accommodation provided, and is open to all nationalities as long as the candidate has a valid biometric passport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on company systems
- Assist in implementing security measures and protocols to protect against cyber attacks
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Stay up-to-date with latest security trends and technologies to proactively prevent potential threats
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure security measures are integrated into all processes and systems
- Provide support for incident response and recovery efforts when necessary

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security or related field
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices
- Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems and web applications
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, etc.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel if required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
