Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Al-Khor. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards. Your role will also involve managing and training kitchen staff, ordering and maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient operations to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Experience in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that are innovative, creative, and appealing to customers
- Oversee the preparation of all food items according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation procedures, and health codes
- Manage inventory levels by ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste
- Develop relationships with local suppliers for fresh ingredients sourcing
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Create work schedules for kitchen staff based on business needs
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
