Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team in Shan. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, while also managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain consistency in food taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Ensure efficient operation of the kitchen by monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Ability to create unique dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position.
Location:
This role is located in Shan. While we prefer candidates who are familiar with the local culture and cuisine, it is not a strict requirement. We welcome applicants from all nationalities who have a passion for Indian cuisine.
