Head Chef
As the Head Chef of our restaurant located in Shan, India, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations. Your primary duties will include creating and updating menus, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and supervising kitchen staff. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef in a similar establishment and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to menu items as needed
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high quality and timely service
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting
- Ability to manage a team effectively and maintain a positive working environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of Indian cuisine preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience)
