Carpenter

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work with different tools and equipment to measure, cut, shape, join and sand materials according to specifications. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing existing structures such as stairways, door frames, and furniture. This position requires a high level of physical stamina and dexterity, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. Previous experience in carpentry is preferred but not required.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in carpentry (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Familiarity with various carpentry tools and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Valid visa (sponsorship available)

Job Responsibilities:
- Constructing new structures such as walls, roofs, floors, etc.
- Installing wooden fixtures such as cabinets, shelves, etc.
- Repairing damaged or broken structures using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintaining existing structures by replacing parts or making necessary repairs
- Reading blueprints or specifications to determine the size, type and quantity of materials needed for a project
- Measuring materials accurately before cutting or shaping them
- Sanding surfaces after construction or repair work is completed
- Communicating with clients or project managers to discuss project details or changes in plans
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time and meets quality standards
