Commercial Architect



As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures. Your expertise in both design and construction will play a crucial role in determining the success of our projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that each project meets all necessary requirements and is completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Designing commercial buildings and structures based on client's needs, budget, and local building codes
- Creating detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations
- Visiting construction sites to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Preparing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and progress reports
- Communicating with clients to understand their vision for the project and address any concerns or changes
- Staying updated on industry advancements in materials, technology, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with different professionals involved in the project
- Ability to think creatively while also considering practicality and functionality of designs
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:
- Experience working on large-scale commercial projects with a variety of building types (e.g. office buildings, retail spaces)
- Familiarity with LEED certification process for sustainable design practices

Location: Las Vegas (Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
