Gardener/Caretaker in Nakuru, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener/Caretaker to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, with accommodation provided. As a Gardener/Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and grounds of our property.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and maintaining gardens, including planting, pruning, watering, and fertilizing
- Ensuring that all plants are healthy and well-maintained
- Identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues
- Maintaining lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Managing irrigation systems and ensuring proper water usage
- Cleaning and maintaining garden equipment
- Assisting with landscaping projects as needed
- Performing general caretaking duties such as cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of buildings on the property

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a gardener or caretaker preferred
- Knowledge of various plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Indian nationality preferred
