Entry-Level Interpreter

Our company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Interpreter to join our team in Funchal. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services for clients in various settings. Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or via phone for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and other events with accuracy and impartiality
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Research terminology and familiarize yourself with subject matter prior to interpreting
- Communicate any potential conflicts of interest or ethical concerns to the appropriate parties
- Keep up-to-date on industry standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Portuguese)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong cultural competency and sensitivity
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in interpretation or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in interpretation or customer service (preferred)

Compensation:
This position offers a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation can be provided for applicants without local housing.
