We are currently hiring for a freelance interpreter to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between Portuguese and English for various clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is fluent in both languages and has experience in interpretation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services in Portuguese and English for meetings, conferences, and other events
- Accurately convey messages between parties while maintaining cultural sensitivity
- Research and prepare relevant vocabulary and terminology prior to assignments
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of interpreted information
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted conversations
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistency in terminology usage

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English (both written and spoken)
- Prior experience as an interpreter or translator preferred
- Strong knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, syntax, and cultural differences between the two languages
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex information accurately
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This is a remote freelance position that can be done from anywhere in Funchal. No accommodation will be provided.
