Temporary Restaurant Manager - Biometric Passport (Faroe Islands)
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant operations in the Faroe Islands. This is a temporary position for 6 months to cover for the current manager's maternity leave. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, from ensuring excellent customer service to overseeing inventory and staff scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train, supervise, and schedule staff to maintain efficient operations
- Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving financial targets
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of Faroese is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
This is a temporary position paying 1500$ per month.

The position is based in the beautiful Faroe Islands, known for its stunning landscapes and rich Viking history. While applicants from all nationalities are welcome, preference will be given to those already located in or willing to relocate to the Faroe Islands.
